In hopes of boosting outdoor recreation opportunities in Cripple Creek, the city submitted a grant proposal to Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) this winter.
Cripple Creek would like to expand its parks and recreation facilities to include an athletic field and trails, said Kyle Fenner, coordinator for the Gold Camp Development Corp. I think we have a well-written grant, Fenner said. Cripple Creek is requesting $200,000 from Great Outdoors Colorado to acquire 30 acres of land.See the full content of this document
