City trucks this week began dumping clean dirt into a hole on the Northside's White Pine Sash site. The fill is the foundation for a city park and replaces contaminated soil removed from the area last year. As weather allows, trucks will haul some 8,000 cubic yards of dirt donated by Allied Waste to the land north of the Scott Street Bridge.
