Yes, that's me with a tissue to my nose. I am commemorating a recent weekend. It was supposed to be a family celebration of my wife's birthday. It turned out to be a family flu festival.
I started wheezing and sneezing first. I hoped it was the sinus trouble that afflicts me from time to time, but it wasn't. If it wasn't officially flu, it was a very close cousin. A decision had to be made: Daughter Tracy; grandchildren Garrett, Lisa and Tyler; and Garrett's wife, Crystal, were supposed to come up from Raleigh for the festivities.
