Union leaders held an emergency meeting in Britain after British Airways said it would cut Boeing 747 crews on long flights even without union approval. As part of a cost-cutting plan, British Airways said it would drop crews from 15 to 14 and mandate customer service directors, who currently serve in a managerial role on flights, must serve passengers, The Times of London reported Wednesday.
