Every Saturday morning, the author heads to her local supermarket to restock on fruit and vegetables. More often than not, she will come across limp root vegetables, herbs well past their prime, citrus in the first bloom of decay, and a produce manager who looks as though he could not give two shiitakes. Six Sigma training is time-intensive, mentally rigorous and steeped in statistics; everything is measurable. Here are six tips for providing Six Sigma communication support for your organization: 1. Identify your primary liaison. 2. Get involved. 3. Take the basic training. 4. Look for communication opportunities. 5. Look out for red flags. 6. Understand the needs of the audience.
