A clergy and her group opposed to a bill dealing with immigration enforcement were ejected from a committee hearing June 23 after speaking without permission and ignoring the chairman's order for them to stop.
Sen. Russell Pearce, chairman of the Appropriations Committee, called security after a few minutes of tense verbal confrontation with the group. The group then agreed to leave the room - followed by the committee's Democrats.See the full content of this document
