WINDSOR - Clarence Thomas "Samie" Whitley, 79, passed away Dec. 31, 2010. He was born in Isle of Wight County the son of the late Telzie Carr Whitley and Clarence Edwin Whitley. He served his country in the Unites States Air Force. After a long working history he later went on to retire from the maintenance department at Gwaltney's. He was a member of Pine Grove Assembly of God.
Clarence is survived by his wife of 58 years, Martha G. Whitley; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and John Wangerin of Suffolk, Jackie and Don Carr of Windsor; grandchildren and their spouses, Shannon Graffam (Jay), Doug Nabors (Kate), Joshua Nabors (Mandy), Jacob Tynes, Kristy Bryant (Adam), Thomas Steele Carr (Haley); great- grandchildren, Jordan, Connor, Brady Graffam, and Braydon Bryant.See the full content of this document
