Chisholm-Mingo, Pioneering Ad Agency, to End 27 Years of Operation This Week

[Samuel Chisholm], 61, said that closing the agency was a very tough decision, "but when you into a situation like [bankruptcy] you have to weigh the odds. We're thankful for the support we've gotten from our clients, our vendors and our employees."

With clients like Starwood Resort Hotels and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Chisholm said the impact on the agency following the Sept. 11 attacks was devastating. "Our focus for the last three months has been on helping our clients and employees get organized for the future," said Chisholm. The agency had about 50 employees and last year posted $100 million in billings.
