Gold bars, move over. Steel is the new "hot" precious metal.
Demand for rolled steel is up in China, which now uses about 31 percent of the world's steel. That means rising prices down on the American farm. Prices of hot-rolled steel set an all-time high of almost $500 per ton in February, and there were reports of $800 per ton steel in April.See the full content of this document
