Let it be said that even though everyone is 'entitled' to their own opinions and we're free to share them; it doesn't mean it's a good idea. Freedom of speech doesn't have an idiot protection clause written into it. Like I said, sometimes when a microphone gets pushed in your face, it's better to 'just say no.'

Hip-Hop is the most powerful music in the world today and that power can be used for good or evil. But don't insult my intelligence and say that its messages have no impact on the impressionable minds of children everywhere. To cop out and simply blame parents does not in any way absolve Hip-Hop of its responsibility in bringing us to this point. If 'parents' are to blame [Fiddy]...the least you can do is stop denigrating women and remind people that the word 'parents' is plural in nature - meaning it's okay to spend your life with a woman and not just the night. Look out now, Mo'Kelly can rhyme too. Ah suki suki now.

Hip-Hop can't have it both ways. You can't spit rhyme after rhyme, song after song, album after album espousing the thug/gangster mentality and act 'surprised' when the chickens come home to roost and the world starts treating you accordingly. Because when it does, THAT'S not racism; that's just reaping what you sow. Know the difference.

Sometimes, you should just use the golden rule of drug use and "just say no." Just because one's financial means are substantial, doesn't mean necessarily that the wisdom and common sense bank accounts are not overdrawn.
