On Wednesday, Sept. 10th, 2008 at the Garfield Park Benefit Gala 250 attendees, including Illinois' top leadership from healthcare, social services, corporate and government, celebrated Illinois Maternal and Child Health Coalition's (IMCHC) 20th Anniversary Benefit Gala. What started in 1988 as a small group of committed experts and advocates has resulted in a powerful identity with a track record of progress. Today, Illinois is healthier because of IMCHC's statewide network of over 1,000 organizations committed to changing public policy and programs.
