DETROIT - The American Arab Chamber of Commerce (AACC) held its 14th Annual Building Economic Bridges Banquet this week themed "Piece by Peace." Now under the new chairmanship of Nasser Beydoun, the group has always believed that building economic ties between the U.S. and the Arab world contributes to the benefit of both and makes the realization of peace more likely.
Arab Americans have nothing to hide and nothing to fear, he added. "There has never been an Arab American convicted of committing a terrorist act against America," he said.
