Some of the additional development efforts in Douglas County in the last year include: * Charter Films, a blown plastic film extrusion company, completed a multi-million dollar expansion to its Superior facility and added employees. * AMSOIL, a synthetic lubricant manufacturer, recently completed a $20 million dollar expansion to its Superior facility. * Genesis Attachments LLC, a manufacturer of large shears for the recycling and deconstruction industry completed an expansion in 2007 and continues to add to its workforce. * Enbridge Energy Partners is in the midst of pipeline expansion projects totaling $4-6 billion. St. Croix and Pierce Counties With its wonderful natural resources to draw tourists and its close proximity to the Twin Cities, St. Croix County consistently ranks as the state's fastest-growing county by percentage increase and is near the top as a result of numeric increases.
