Broward County Transit Service Adjustments Effective May 16 Includes 95 Express Extension to Downtown Miami Bus Terminal

Summary


Route 6: On weekdays, Saturday and Sunday, the bus will travel northbound along Southwest Eighth Avenue, then west along Hallandale Beach Boulevard, then north on Northwest Seventh Avenue, then west on Northwest First Street. The bus will use Southwest Fifth Street, replacing Southwest Sixth Street, north and southbound from Phippen Waters Road to North 22nd Avenue.

Route 22: On weekdays, the eastbound trip starting at 7 p.m. from Sawgrass Mills Mall will now have the following schedule departure time adjustments: buses will leave the West Terminal at 7:20 p.m.; Broward Mall at 7:25 p.m.; Broward Boulevard and Highway 441 at 7:40 p.m.; Fort Lauderdale Tri-Rail Station at 7:50 p.m., and arrive at the Broward Central Terminal at 8 p.m.

95 Express: On weekdays, 95 Express will now service the downtown Miami Bus Terminal. The bus stop is located adjacent to Southwest First Avenue in the terminal bus bay behind Miami-Dade Transit Route 21 bus stop. This new stop provides service to an additional downtown Miami destination and transfers between Miami-Dade Transit and the 95 Express.
