A Bridge of Hope for the Poorest of the Poor Series: Fifth in a 10-Part Series
It will connect two of the poorest areas in the Delta -- the towns of Benoit in Bolivar County, Miss., and Arkansas City in Desha County, Ark. The 4 1/2 -mile, four-lane bridge is part of a 23-mile project from Benoit to McGehee, Ark.
