Summary
This interesting and distributional hand was dealt in a recent club game, and the auction shown occurred when Joanna May and Craig Jones played it. When Jones in the east supported May in clubs, she jumped the bidding right to slam and made all the tricks by trumping two hearts in the dummy and discarding the other two losing hearts on the spade ace and the diamond queen. The queen had been established when the diamond ace was trumped on the opening lead. After getting rid of her losers, May had only to draw the opponents' trumps and claim 13 tricks.
