Summary
BIJAK Malaysia, a whole life insurance plan developed by the National Insurance Association of Malaysia or NIAM in July 2007 has been well received, with more than RM70 million generated in sales. In recognition, NIAM organised its first `BIJAK Malaysia Convention' in Bangkok recently. It was a platform for the distributors to share best practices and success stories in elevating Bijak Malaysia's performance to a higher level.
With limited payment terms, it provides guaranteed protection coverage for life at a very affordable premium during productive working years, which is necessary for every working class person. Touching on the relevance of Bijak Malaysia to the Malaysian public, Raymond Lew, Head of Life Product of Bijak Malaysia-cum-Organising Chairman of the Committee, said, `The unique proposition of Bijak Malaysia particularly appeals to individuals below 40 years old and the most popular plans are Plan 1 and 2 with a monthly contribution of RM100 and RM200 respectively.'See the full content of this document
