A gentle breeze gave participants a break from the temperatures that have beaten down on central Ohioans in recent week. Without such respite from the elements, the event was still "cool," according to Cordasia Brown, 8, who sported a spider ring that she had won at one of the carnie booths.
Among them was City Councilman Hearcel Craig, a former president of the East Berwyn Civic Association, one of the event's sponsors.
