Summary


The next-to-last play of the game was a blur to Evansville Bluecats linebacker Darrell Jack.

What everyone else saw was the ball sailing through the air from Lexington Horsemen quarterback Dusty Bonner to Derek Homer, who caught it and appeared to be tackled at the Bluecats' 6-yard line on fourth down. Only Homer threw the ball straight up into the air, it coming to rest in the hands of teammate Randy Bell on the opposite side of the field.
