The Arizona Supreme Court has ruled that a description of a ballot proposition to set aside nearly 700,000 acres of state trust land as conservation land free from development can stand.
Attorneys for Conserving Arizona's Future, the group behind Proposition 106, sued Legislative Council in July, alleging the analysis of the ballot measure the legislative oversight committee crafted was deliberately biased.
