Once again, Gov. Jan Brewer is requesting more assistance from the White House to deal with illegal immigration and drug trafficking on the Arizona-Mexico border.
In a May 20 letter to President Barack Obama, Brewer asked for OH- 58 Kiowa helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles for surveillance missions along the border, as well as for more funding for an anti- drug trafficking task force. More aerial surveillance and increased funding for the Joint Counter-Narco Terrorism Task Force were both parts of the border security plan Brewer unveiled in April.See the full content of this document
