Evansville police arrested a man Monday who they say entered a bank, handed a teller a note that said "Please help me, He is watching" and asked her to press the alarm.

Lonnie Ray Ford, 40, of 4508 N. Fourth Ave., was jailed on a charge of attempted strong arm robbery of a bank. Ford also had two arrest warrants from Muhlenberg County, Ky., for flagrant nonsupport.
