Aerospace defense: modern aspects.

Lately newspapers and magazines as well as politicians and military commanders have been paying much attention to aerospace defense of the state (ASD) as a complex of federal and military measures to repel (prepare to repel) aerospace attack of the enemy and to protect stet objects and Armed Forces Task Forces against strikes from air and space. To cope with these tasks the Aerospace defense system should be established as a composition of assets and forces of reconnaissance and destruction of hostile aerospace attack weapons, combat control and support bodies deployed in certain combat formations.

Aerospace defense system is very costly. It must incorporate global intelligence systems, systems of air and space control, missile warning system (MWS), systems of fighting aerodynamic, missile and space assets, automated control systems and branched communication systems. And this includes a family of radar stations, positions of air defense missile forces and units, base airfields of fighting aviation, radio reconnaissance and ECW forces and assets, most powerful radar stations and space missile warning systems (MWS), stations being operated in various modes, space control systems (SCS), missile defense (MD) forces and assets, automated control stations, communications posts and lines. ...
