Summary
From the outside, the CNY Center for the Performing Arts looks like just another building lining West Manlius Street in East Syracuse. The inside's a different story. Framed posters of Broadway classics like Chicago, Footloose and Rent deck the hallway walls. The front two rooms are spacious enough to house large numbers of dance and audition crowds. The men's and women's restrooms are charmingly labeled "Elton John" and "Olivia Newton-John." At the far end stand designing stations and immense storage closets for stage costumes.
