Summary
As videographers, they need to take a fresh look at their own families and ask if they are capturing memories with the same vigilance they apply to total strangers. First, they need to make this a priority. Now, whenever the author's family visits the video camera is very much a part of the family gatherings. Second, take time to share these memories on a DVD, or on the Internet. There are real benefits to having a video to share soon after a visit is complete. The author hopes all videographers will be able to look back and be happy for how rich they are because they have discovered their acres of diamonds.
