It's About Time to Get Serious About Exercising

Summary


For years, I have been talking the talk. Now it's time for me to walk the walk. I have written enough stories about obesity, diabetes, heart attack, breast cancer, hypertension and high cholesterol (the bad kind) to know the importance of diet and exercise in preventing diseases.

But it has been years since I exercised on a regular basis, unless you count the calories I burn chasing stories at work and running after two young children at home. As I approach another birthday, I have decided it's time to get my own "health" house in order. I'm going to get physically fit.
