Summary
Erika M. Armstrong, 82, a wonderful and loving wife and mother, of the 1500 block of Forest Cove Drive, died Aug. 26, 2004, in Naval Regional Medical Center, Portsmouth, following a very brief illness.
A native of Wurzburg, Germany, she was the daughter of the late George Schnarr and Ella Leonhardt. She was Catholic by faith and had strong convictions within her heart. Taking care of her family and her home was her life. She loved to crochet and she loved roses. "Erika My Love" was a rose that was named after her and was registered with the American Rose Society.
