Summary
WHEN I FIRST saw marsh marigolds, they took my breath away. Growing by a stream, the little yellow flowers had turned the woodsy banks into a golden carpet. The sight was reminiscent of a field of buttercups.
Marsh marigolds are a member of the buttercup family, though quite different. The marigolds' mass of color is more impressive to me than that of buttercups because marigolds grow lower to the ground and form a denser, more brilliant blanket of yellow.See the full content of this document
