The Rev. Joseph Facura entered St. Matthew's Catholic Church on Palm Sunday, riding a donkey as more than 600 parishioners waved palms and flowers.
The procession served as a reminder of the journey Jesus is believed to have taken into Jerusalem five days before his crucifixion, when Jerusalem was then considered enemy territory, Facura said.
