Employers are beginning to realize that the 800 million people living in Latin America represent a key pool of labor that is close in proximity to the US and can render a high degree of specialization in certain areas. If possible, employers should avoid putting HR in the position of having to say no -- it's just not looked upon favorably in Latin America. Companies must learn to use softer ways of saying no.
