Summary
There are lots of technical service bulletins (TSBs) for the engine. MIL illumination with DTC P0172 may be caused by a faulty MAF connector; install repair kit BNYP-67-SHO. P0456 and P2407 EVAP codes can be fixed by reprogramming the PCM. Other EVAP codes and many fuel trim codes are caused by a purge valve that is stuck open or faulty fuel cap. For hard-start cold, check for fouled plugs and low fuel system hold pressure.
