Broward County Deputy Arrested for Committing Sexual Battery
On April 23, 2009 at approximately 6:00 a.m., the adult male victim was waiting outside an apartment complex in Oakland Park for a ride to work when Dep. [Jonathan Bleiweiss] approached in a marked BSO patrol car and requested his identification. The victim told BSO Sex Crimes detectives that Dep. Bleiweiss placed him against the patrol unit and during the pat down placed his hand inside the victim's underwear and groped him.

South Plantation High School Solar Knights Win Top Prize at Dellwinston Solar Car Challenge
South Plantation High School students won firdt place at the natioAal Dell Winston Solar Car Challenge, held recently at the Texas Motor Speedway. Solar Knight II, the 650-pound solar car entered by the South Plantation High School team, completed a total of 395 laps (592.5 miles) over the fourday event. Brayan Delgado received the Order of the Solar Cell' Award for his commitment to solar car racing. Overall, the Solar Knights won five individual session trophies during the event.
