Attorney Sentenced for Defrauding North Kansas City Bank

A lawyer who pleaded guilty to defrauding a North Kansas City bank will spend more than four years in prison. Dawn Renee Harpster, 38, of Kidder, received a sentence of four years and two months in federal prison and also ordered to pay more than $866,000 in restitution. She was sentenced on Monday by U.S. Chief District Judge Fernando Gaitan Jr.
